TVEC’s transition to a new software platform is well underway, and we are excited about the enhanced member service capabilities that will bring!

The first major transition point will be coming up August 15-21, as the financial system is moved to the new software. For members, that will mean almost a week with no electronic payment systems in place.

If you pay online, via the myTVEC mobile app, bank draft, or even calling in with credit card payment, those systems will not be accessible until about August 22. If the work is completed earlier, we will let everyone know.

Pay-as-You-Go prepaid electricity members: Your usage will accrue, but no payments will be accepted during this timeframe. When regular payment services are resumed, you will need to make sure your account balance has sufficient funds to avoid disconnection. Payment services should resume Tuesday, August 22.

Automatic Bank Draft members: If you have set up automated payments from your bank, you may need to reschedule any payments until on or after August 22.

Of course we will not be charging late fees or disconnecting power for nonpayment during this timeframe.

Check payments by mail, and checks and cash brought to our office locations will still be accepted. However, credit card payments will not be accepted even at our offices.

Thank you for your patience while we make this move. We are confident that your member experience will be improved when we finish this transition in November!
