In response to possible record electricity demand, ERCOT has issued a call for voluntary conservation efforts across the state.
This means that electric consumers can assist in maintaining reliable electric service by temporarily reducing demand.
Conservation ideas:
Adjust your thermostat to run air conditioners less
Turn off unnecessary lighting and appliances
Temporarily turn off water heaters and pool pumps
