Beginning March 15, 2024, TVEC will no longer provide meter bases at no charge for new service locations. Meter bases may be purchased from TVEC directly, or you may provide your own meter base that meets the required specifications.

For many years, TVEC has provided meter bases at no charge where new services were installed. Over time the cost for these items has gone
up significantly. This, combined with supply-chain issues and equipment availability issues during recent years has led to a policy change.

When you are planning your new construction or service location, please contact us at your earliest convenience to start the process and ensure availability of a meter base for your project.
